INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS Bachelor of Technology (B.U.T.)

The International Business Bachelor of Technology (B.U.T.) is a three-year, career-oriented program focused on international trade and global business development.

Taught in a multicultural environment, it combines courses in management, international marketing, negotiation, foreign languages and intercultural studies. Graduates gain practical skills to enter the international job market or pursue further studies.

Inclusive Campus

Over 2,600 international students are welcomed each year in the various departments of the Marie and Louis Pasteur University (former Franche-Comté University), along with over 3,500 interns at its Centre for Applied Linguistics (CLA).

Each year the North Franche-Comté iUT hosts many international students under different programs : ADIUT exchange programs, MEXPROTEC, ERASMUS, and individual mobility students outside exchange programs, notably through CAMPUS FRANCE.

The « BIENVENUE EN FRANCE » label, awarded to our university, certifies the quality of the reception and support for international students.

What is the

International Business B.U.T. ?

The Bachelor of Technology (B.U.T) in International Business prepares students to become executive managers who will be able to take part in marketing goods or services. 

The degree covers job opportunities in sales, marketing and communication. 

The students will be put into real-life situations to develop their skills such as market analyses, sales, international business strategy, commercial communication and international negotiation.

What is the

study track ?

We offer you the opportunity to complete:

  • The 3rd year of the B.U.T. program at our institution which corresponds to 60 ECTS and enables students to obtain a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science.
Study period:
from September 1st, 2026 to end of June, 2027
  • A one semester exchange program which corresponds to 30 ECTS. (Please note that this is only possible if you come from a Stars Eu partner. You can see the list below.)

    All courses and assessments are delivered in English, with a B1 level required for admission

What is the cost of the study program and daily living ?

  • Daily living expenses :
These expenses can be estimated between 600 and 900 euros : rent, food, public transports etc.

Moreover, if you apply for the full year, you will have to pay

* The Nord Franche-Comté iUT is a component of the Marie and Louis Pasteur University. The funding is primarily public, with state funds supplemented by professional training and local government financing. The average cost of the training is estimated at 14,000 euros per student per year.
